Pansy Yee, LA County Community Development Commission
Pansy Yee is a Manager of the Economic & Housing Development Division of the Los Angeles County Community Development Commission (CDC), where she oversees competitions, awards, and contracting of tens of millions of dollars of capital for the development of affordable housing, with an emphasis on special needs housing. In the past, Pansy oversaw the expansion of CDC’s capital programs to include multiple funding sources: County General Funds, First 5 LA in addition to other traditional sources such as the federal HOME funding. Pansy has the Bachelor’s in History from UC Berkeley and Master’s in Urban Planning from UCLA.
Tiena Johnson-Hall is the manager of the Community Development Finance Manager for Corporate Responsibility. Johnson-Hall oversees the BBVA Compass’ Community Reinvestment Act investment programs. She reports to J. Reymundo Ocañas, Director of Corporate Responsibility & Reputation. Before joining the bank in 2014, Johnson-Hall previously held positions Bank of the West, U.S. Bank, Bank of America and the City of Los Angeles Housing Department. Johnson-Hall is a recent gubernatorial appointee to the Board of the Directors for the State of California Housing Finance Agency and serves on the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles County Housing Development Corporation. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Howard University and Master of Business Administration from the University of Redlands.
